I always loved the feel of a crayon or a pencil or a brush! Making art has been my source of comfort for as long as I can remember. I received my formal art training in New York with renowned Staten Island artist Fred A. Sklenar. My grandfather’s present to me for my 10th birthday was art lessons from his friend Fred. I had to wait until I was 10, because Fred wouldn’t take students younger! I studied drawing, pastel, landscape, portraiture, still life, and oil as well as sculpture. My first art shows were on Staten Island, when I was 10 and 11 years old. My art work has been featured in the art and literary magazines for Watchung Hills Regional High School and Susquehanna University. I am married, with three children. I am a proud...
